UGC clip libraries compared: DansUGC, UGCdrop, UGCBundle and GridBank

Four places to buy ready-made UGC clips for ads and short-form video, side by side. DansUGC publishes this page and sells one of the products compared. Every fact about the other three comes from their own websites and is linked next to the claim: UGCdrop and UGCBundle were checked on October 26, 2026, GridBank on October 22, 2026. Where a company's own pages disagree, we say so. Prices and terms change: check the source before you buy.

Which one fits

  • Lowest price per clip: UGCBundle and UGCdrop.
  • Largest stated library: GridBank (1M+ clips), with term-based licensing.
  • AI-generated variations and finished videos in-app: UGCdrop offers AI clip and avatar tools and a Studio that renders finished videos. DansUGC does not generate AI content, and its license forbids generating AI content from its clips.
  • Agents buying clips without an account: UGCdrop's public API lets an agent return a checkout link for $2 clips. DansUGC's MCP needs a DansUGC login and licenses clips after a confirmation step.
  • Real-human reactions you can preview first, a renewable license and custom creators when you need them: DansUGC. Browse the library or see reaction clips by emotion.

Questions

What is the cheapest ready-made UGC clip library?
Per clip, UGCBundle ($19 for 20 clips, $49 for 100) and UGCdrop ($2 per clip without an account) are cheaper than DansUGC ($15 per clip, or $8–$11 on a plan). DansUGC's packages work out to about $3.70 per clip.
Which UGC clip libraries use only real people?
DansUGC and UGCBundle state that every clip shows a real person. UGCdrop sells both real and AI-generated clips and labels them. GridBank describes its footage as uploaded by everyday people and does not state a policy on AI content.
Which libraries let me preview clips before buying?
DansUGC and GridBank show their libraries without an account. UGCdrop shows single clip pages publicly but asks you to log in to browse; UGCBundle shows watermarked previews and needs a sign-in to open the library.
Which clip libraries work with AI agents like Claude Code?
DansUGC has an MCP server that Claude Code, Codex and other MCP clients connect to with a DansUGC login: agents search clips and license them only after a confirmation step. UGCdrop offers an MCP on its plans and a public no-key API where agents can buy clips through a checkout link. GridBank states it has an API. UGCBundle doesn't state an API.
Can I keep using the clips in ads after I stop paying?
With UGCBundle (“yours forever”), yes. DansUGC licenses each purchase for 12 months: organic posts already live can stay up, paid ads need a renewal or a perpetual upgrade (purchases before Oct 26, 2026 stay perpetual). GridBank ties paid-ad use to an active license period. UGCdrop's terms don't state a duration and end your rights if your account is terminated.

Notes on the sources

UGCdrop's homepage says every clip is filmed by a real person, while its bundles page and API label some clips as AI-generated; we report both. UGCBundle's homepage says 100+ reactions and its llms.txt says 1,000+. GridBank's pricing page labels its prices as a promotion, and its pricing FAQ and subscriber terms describe the license period differently; we quote the terms. Our October 26 check could not load GridBank's site (it rate-limited the request), so GridBank facts are from October 22 and the newer rows say “Not checked” for it. Prices are in US dollars as shown on each site.
